About CII



 

Confederation of Indian Industry(CII) is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry led and industry managed organisation, playing a proactive role in India’s development process. Founded over 111 years ago, it is India’s premier business association, with a direct membership of over 6300 organisations from the private as well as public sectors, including SMEs and MNCs, and an indirect membership of over 90,000 companies from around 336 national and regional sectoral associations.

A facilitator, CII catalyses change by working closely with government on policy issues, enhancing efficiency, competitiveness and expanding business opportunities for industry through a range of specialised services and global linkages. It also provides a platform for sectoral consensus building and networking. Major emphasis is laid on projecting a positive image of business, assisting industry to identify and execute corporate citizenship programmes.

CII’s theme of “Competitiveness for Sustainable and Inclusive Growth” reflects the Confederation’s commitment to balanced development that encompasses all sectors of the economy and all sections of society, at all levels – Global, National, Regional, State and Zonal.

 

About NASSCOM

NASSCOM is India's National Association of Software and Service Companies, the premier trade body and the chamber of commerce of the IT software and services industry in India. NASSCOM is a global trade body with over 1100 members, of which over 250 are global companies from the US, UK, EU, Japan and China. NASSCOM's member companies are in the business of software development, software services, software products, IT-enabled/BPO services and e-commerce.

NASSCOM was set up to facilitate business and trade in software and services and to encourage advancement of research in software technology. It is a not-for-profit organization, registered under the Societies Act, 1860.

About ESC




Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) is India's largest electronics and IT trade facilitation organization sponsored by Government of India. ESC has over 2300 member companies across the length and breadth of the country in several ICT sub sectors including Computer Software/Services/Electronics Hardware.

As a representative organ of Corporate India, ESC - the principal voice of Indian ICT industry both with the policy makers and the international business community, articulates the genuine, legitimate needs and interests of its member ICT exporters.

Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC), sponsored by the Government of India is India's apex institution to promote export of Electronics Hardware & Telecom, Information Technology, Computer Software and Services, ITeS / BPO. In an Industry where the degree of technological obsolescence is very high, ESC is striving hard to elevate India's position in the international trading arena of the Electronic and Computer Software.
